Story-specific tips

  1. Shoot in the app, not through Instagram's camera. Instagram compresses hard; a look applied at capture (grain especially) survives compression far better than one added after.
  2. Vertical, obviously — but resist cropping filtered photos; grain magnifies when cropped.
